Ok, so here is my little snorricam piece for lawngnomedia.com. We were planning on using this for a scene in our upcoming film: “The Handicaped.” I built this sucker myself for really cheap and IT WORKS!!! Cheap and it works…that’s all you should really need to know…but in case you do want to know more I’ll include more in this post, just for you. First we’ll start out with a brief tutorial video, and go from there.
Ok, so again those parts are:
- 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ bolt
- 1/4″ Nylock nut (or nylon insert locking nut)
- 3/4″ PVC plug
- nine 3/4″ PVC Tees
- six 3/4″ 90° PVC elbows
- two 3/4″ 45° PVC elbows
- 10′ of 3/4″ PVC piping (or two 5′ pieces will do)
- two 24″ flat bungie cables and/or leather belt
- here’s the full tutorial video that I used: http://vimeo.com/21896040
Ok, so with that out of the way I have a test video of me using my newly completed snorricam and here it is!
Well, that one was really late at night after a day of me being sick, not taking a shower, and being generally lazy. Laziness aside, I still managed to finish the snorricam.
Now that we’re all through this magical journey about my snorricam I’d like to bid you farewell. So, farewell…that means goodbye. Go on…git.
